Privacy Policy
This Privacy Notice for Funovate Technology LLC ("we", "us" or "our") describes how and why we collect, store, use and share ("process") your personal information when you use LLMCompare (the "Services"), including when you visit https://llmcompare.ai.
Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Services. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. What information do we collect?
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, your email address and the identifier of your account at that provider. We do not receive or store your password.
Evaluation data. To run an evaluation we store what you put into it: test cases, expected results, prompts, reference images and other files you upload, the models and parameters you choose, your review verdicts and notes, and the outputs the models return.
Payment data. Payments are handled and stored by Stripe. We do not store your card number. We keep a record of your purchases, your plan and your credit balance. Stripe's privacy notice is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Services we collect your IP address, browser and device characteristics, language preference, the site you came from, and how you use the Services. We set a first-party cookie with a random visitor identifier to count visits. It is not used to sign you in or to decide what you may access.
Sensitive information. We do not ask for sensitive information. Do not put personal data of other people into your test cases unless you have the right to do so.
2. How do we process your information?
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To run your evaluations: send your inputs to the models you selected and store the results.
- To calculate usage, charge credits and process payments.
- To notify you when a run finishes, in the product and by email.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To protect the Services, prevent abuse and fix faults.
- To understand how the Services are used so that we can improve them.
3. Who can see your evaluation data?
Private by default. An evaluation, its runs and its outputs are visible only to the account that owns them.
Sharing is your choice. When you share a report by link, anyone who has the link can open it. When you publish a report, anyone can open it and search engines can index it. In both cases all test cases and all outputs of that report become visible to the people who can open it. You can withdraw a shared or published report at any time; its address then stops working.
Deleting. Deleting an evaluation deletes its runs, its outputs, the files you uploaded to it and its published reports. Copies that other users made from a published report before you deleted it contain the models, the judging rules and the shared prompt, and do not contain your test cases or outputs.
Our access. Our staff access evaluation data only when it is needed to operate the Services, to investigate a fault or abuse, or to answer a request from you.
4. Model providers process the inputs you submit
To run an evaluation, LLMCompare sends your prompts, test cases and reference images to the providers of the models you selected, directly or through a routing service. Each provider processes that content under its own terms and privacy policy, including its safety filtering and its retention rules. We send only what is needed to make the call. We do not send your name or email address with the call.
Do not submit content that you are not allowed to send to those providers.
5. What legal bases do we rely on?
If you are located in the EU or the UK: we rely on performance of a contract (to provide the Services you asked for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (where we ask for it) and legal obligations.
If you are located in Canada: we process your information when you have given us express or implied consent.
6. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
We share information with the service providers that operate the Services with us: model providers (section 4), Stripe for payments, our hosting and storage provider, our email delivery provider and our analytics providers. We may share information in a business transfer such as a merger or sale, and when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, to remember your language, to count visits and to measure how the Services are used. We may use third-party analytics tools for that measurement.
8. How do we handle your social logins?
When you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive profile information from that provider, usually your name and email address. We use it only for the purposes described in this notice. We do not control how the provider uses your information; review its privacy notice.
9. How long do we keep your information?
We keep your account information while your account exists. We keep evaluation data until you delete the evaluation or your account. We keep records of payments and credit transactions for as long as tax and accounting law requires. When we no longer need information we delete or anonymise it.
10. How do we keep your information safe?
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we process. No transmission over the internet and no storage technology is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Do we collect information from minors?
No. The Services are for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you learn that a minor has given us information, contact us at [email protected].
12. What are your privacy rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it. If we process your information on the basis of consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To use these rights, contact us at [email protected].
You can stop marketing email with the unsubscribe link in any such email.
13. Controls for do-not-track features
No common standard for do-not-track signals has been adopted, so we do not currently respond to them.
14. Do we make updates to this notice?
Yes. When we change this notice we change the "Last updated" date at the top. We tell you about important changes in the product or by email.
